Ahe Island is one of the most preferred tourist destinations in Papua. There are always visitors in this spot to enjoy the scenic view and under water diving spot. This island offers calmness and tranquility to visitors with its beauty.
The island is located in Cenderawasih Bay, Nabire Regency, Papua. It has traditional art and culture; these are very successful in attracting the attention of tourists to visit. Art and cultural attractions featured on Ahe island as well as to help the survival of the local residents as an additional income for them. To reach these places, using speedboats and longboats for approximately 20 minutes from the capital regency and 1.5 to 2 hours if departing from Nabire.
Cenderawasih Bay, (translating to Bird Of Paradise Bay), hosts an incredible array of marinebiodiversity. The largest marine national park in all of Indonesia exists within the expanse of the bay – Teluk Cenderawasih National Park. The park contains over 150 recorded species of coral, over 200 known species of fish, and extends over an area of 14, 535 square kilometers. And that is not to mention the dugongs and the dolphins. But let’s face it, you’re not here to see the rich collection of life in the park. Your here for onething…the sharks. Whale sharks (Rhincodon typus) reach between 9-12 meters in length and weigh up to 12,500 kg, making them the largest fish in the world. Swimming though blue water next to one of these giants can be one of the most beautiful and humbling experiences of your life.

3 Hours Before Flight Time
When you arrive in Nabire we will mention your name on a white board / paper to make easier for you to find us at Nabire airport. Then we will drive you to your hotel, after check in we start our trip to visit Sari Kuning Restoto take your lunch and you will enjoy your lunch in one of best restaurant in Nabire Regency. After lunch finish then we will continue our trip to visit Bihewa Waterfall.
The location of Bihewa waterfall is in the dense part of the forest. Like any other rain forests, you will see huge trees, green leafs, and wildflowers. It has seven levels of small waterfalls,you will enjoy the beautiful view and fresh water. Then after the waterfall finish we will serve your dinner in Merry Beach where this place is popular with the natural view,while enjoying dinner you will be entertained with traditional dance and music show, then we will drive you back to your hotel.
After you get your breakfast in the hotel, we will pick you up at 08.30 AM then start the Islands tour.The first visit of the day is Soa, Kwatisore. Soa is located in Cenderawasih Bay, Nabire Regency. This is the most interesting thing, you will see the whale shark firsthand and not only too see but you will swiming with the Whale Shark. Thewhale sharks that frequent southern Cenderawasih Bay are known to hang around offshore fishing platforms known locally as ‘bagans’.
Then after this finish we will serve your lunch in that island where this place is interesting with fresh grill Seafood and especialy traditional foods. After lunch we will continue to visit one of the biggest Waterfall on that island, they called “ Hendrik Waterfall”.The scenery around of the waterfall is still natural and untouched and, uncommon in Indonesia.
After that around the afternoon, we will take you to see the beauty of the bird of paradise that plays around the trees in the forest. The Paradise Bird is one of the animals that are protected by law, as Destated in Act No. 5 of 1990 regarding Conservation of Natural Resources and Ecosystem.
After this, we will bring you back to the city and take the dinner,then back to your hotel.
After you get your breakfast in the hotel, we will pick you up at 09.00 AM then start the tour to visit Nuburi Island and Pepaya Island,.on this island has amazing underwater, and for those who want snorkling and divingthis is the right pillar because it;s not only the beauty of the sea, there is uniqueness from the underwater of this island, for diving which is usually horizontal, but here will be vertical diving, because the existing coral is naturally vertical.
After Enjoying the underwater, we’ve already prepared our lunch downstairs in this trip, so we do not have to look for lunch anymore. Then our next journey is visiting the Babi Island to enjoying the beautiful views, in here there is one lighthouse that can be used to take pictures and enjoy the beauty of nature. After Babi Island finish we will bring you back to the city and take the dinner, then back to your hotel.
After breakfast in your hotel we will pick you up and take you to visit Taman Gizi where you can buy Nabire’s souvenir like a Traditional Bag, etc. with reasonable price and you can also buy typical nabire fruit, Sweet Orange. then we will take you to Nabire airport.
